About: Looking for a new DIY project? You can sign up for an online class with NatterDoodle, Columbus’ favorite hand-lettering instructor. Here’s how it works: participants will order their take-home kit in advance, which includes the supplies you’ll need to create your set of hand lettered coasters. Then, you can tune in to al ive workshop on Facebook on April 16 at 7 p.m. where you’ll follow along with Natalie as she teaches you the art of hand lettering.

Virtual Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop

via Facebook

About: Macrame is the perfect quarantine craft. It’s repetitive and very meditative to do, especially when you’re making a plant hanger since there isn’t a lot of design involved. You can join Sarah Harste Weavings for a live tutorial on Monday, April 13 at 6 p.m. Your macrame kit should be purchased before April 8 in order to receive them in time to participate live.

PJ Art Party

via Facebook

About: Everyone loves a little arts & crafts time, so why not line up a project for the whole family? Art with Anna is offering a PJ Art Party series. You can purchase your art kit, then follow along on Zoom on April 18 to create your own artistic collage.

Sleep Out! Columbus 2020

via Facebook

About: Sleep Out is an awesome annual event that helps raise awareness for the 3,000 youths in our community who are experiencing homelessness. Instead of gathering together in one big group, participants of Sleep Out are asked to gather virtually on April . Each participant should choose to sleep on the floor, in the backyard, or in some other less-than-comfortable way, then share their experience on social media. It’s during times like these that homeless youth are at even greater risk, and Slep Out 2020 is a great way to help raise funds and awareness to support Huckleberry House.
