The Red Cross In Columbus Is At An All-Time Low Of Blood Donations

The Greater Columbus Chapter of the American Red Cross is in desperate need of blood donations.

The organization has announced that they are at an all-time low for blood donations, which have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. While all blood types are encouraged to donate, the organization is especially in need of donations from universal donors.

On a national level, the Red Cross needs roughly 10,000 donors per week over the next few weeks to get donations up to normal. In fact, the organization is trying to entice donors by offering them some cool perks, like a $10 Amazon gift card and even the chance to win a trip to Hawaii.

If you’re interested in donating blood, you can look for blood drives, make an appointment, or get more information by visiting the Greater Columbus Chapter of the American Red Cross.
