Plans are in motiong for a new, 13-story apartment building in Franklinton.
The new development would place a mixed-use apartment building at 567-575 W. Broad Street. The building joins several new apartment complexes in the booming Franklinton neighborhood, like Gravity and River & Rich.
The proposed 13-story building will have 80 residential units with 2,700 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor. The site currently houses a one-story building which will be demolished before construction begins.

The exterior of the building will have brightly colored panels, inspired by Dutch artist Piet Mondrian. The initial proposal calls the new building The Mondrian in honor of him.
The apartments will have a clubhouse as well as the new Columbus apartment must-have, a rooftop deck with views of downtown. For updates on the project, you can visit the East Franklinton Review Board website here.
