The First Medical Marijuana Dispensary In Columbus Opens This Week

The first medical marijuana dispensary will open their doors on March 26.

Terrasana Dispensary, based out of Michigan, will be opening up at 656 Grandview Ave. on Tuesday morning, giving Columbus residents their first glimpse of the medical marijuana industry.

Once patients have received their Ohio Marijuana Card, they can head to Terrasana. Upon arrival, they’ll be met by security at the front door, where they’ll have to show their marijuana card as well as their ID.

Once inside, they’ll check-in with the staff where they will need to present their documentation once again.

Terrasana General Manager Emilie Ramach and Assistant Manager Theo McFarlane.

After that, they will be able to relax in the waiting room to wait for a Patient Consultant. The patient and consultant will discuss treatment options, which strains work best, appropriate dosage, and what patients can expect to experience while using medical marijuana.

“Education is so important,” said Terrasana General Manager Emilie Ramach. “We encourage people to trust their own body’s process. A dose that works for someone else may not work for you,” she explained.

Terrasana Dispensary will be open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Curious about getting your medical marijuana card? You can get more info on that here.
