David Mueller, a former producer of the “Dave & Jimmy” show at WNCI in the early 2000s, will face Taylor Swift in court. They’re both suing each other.

Mueller filed the first suit in 2015. Swift accused him of groping her during a backstage meet-and-greet in 2013, when Swift, Mueller, and his girlfriend were posing for a photo. At the time, Mueller worked at KYGO, a country radio station in Denver, but consequently got fired. He’s seeking up to $3 million in damages, based on the claim that Swift’s allegations cost him his job and future opportunities.
Swift then filed a countersuit, but she’s only seeking $1 in damages. Mueller also filed a slander claim against Swift in 2016. Billboard has a more detailed timeline on their website.

In his opening statement, Swift’s lawyer, Douglas Baldridge, said she was seeking $1 in damages to show others “you can say no when someone puts their hand on you,” according to KMGH ABC7 in Denver.
Swift said she will donate any damages she receives to organizations that fight sexual assault. She previously donated $250,000 to Kesha in her legal fight against record producer Dr. Luke, according to a report from NBC News.
Us animals support Taylor Swift during her sexual assault trial. Taylor helped Kesha, we will do the same. People can’t get away with this
