Have you always wanted to be in movies? Well, you may not even have to leave the comfort of Ohio to do so.
Sylvester Stallone’s film, Escape Plan 3, will be filming at the Ohio State (Mansfield) Reformatory from September 13 until around October 18.
The first film in the trilogy, Escape Plan, came out in 2013. It starred Sylvester Stallone as Ray Breslin, an escape artist CEO who’s spent his life getting into prisons, studying their guard’s routines and exploiting their weaknesses.
It’s an action film starring two of the genre’s biggest stars, Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Escape Room 2: Hades only wrapped filming in Atlanta in the Spring. Directed by Steven C. Miller, it once again stars Sylvester Stallone alongside 50 Cent, Dave Bautista, and Jaime King.
The details are even thinner for Escape Room 3. However, the Greater Cleveland Film Commission announced that the film is searching for extras.
According to reports, filming for Escape Plan 3 will primarily be shot at the Ohio State Reformatory and Lahm Airport, directed once again by Miller, starring Bautista and Stallone.
This isn’t the first time Stallone has filmed at the Ohio State Reformatory. The buddy cop film Tango & Cash was filmed at the prison in 1989.
This also marks a return to Ohio for Director, Steven C. Miller. Miller spent last summer directing First Kill, starring Bruce Willis, which filmed in Granville.
