Police Arrest 12 At “Abolish ICE” Protest In Downtown Columbus

Protesters converged Downtown this morning at City Hall, holding a “solidarity rally” to abolish ICE.

Front Street was closed due to the protest, which included a woman harnessed into a 32-foot-tall tripod with another protester duct taped to the base. Multiple police and fire trucks responded to the protest, with firefighters eventually removing the woman from her harness.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, 12 arrests were made at the protest.
