Located in Delaware along the Olentangy River Scenic corridor, the Stone Cabin was built in 1826 and began life as a one-room schoolhouse.
The cabin has been fully updated, with a modern kitchen and sleeping loft.
The home has a 1-acre fenced yard overlooking the Bieber Mill ruins. But the ruins are for admiring from afar, not for exploring, as you will likely receive a ticket from the ranger if you get too close.
To the west and the south of the property you’ll find the Seymour Woods Nature Preserve. The area is protected from hunting which means it’s super quiet and secluded.
The area has active wildlife, so you will probably get to see an adorable deer or two at dawn and dusk.
If you want to get away without going far, you can book the Stone Cabin for $170/night via Airbnb.
