Comedy Legends Martin Short and Steve Martin Coming To The Ohio Theatre

Get ready to bust a gut with long-time funny friends Martin Short and Steve Martin.

Classic comedic titans, Martin Short and Steve Martin arrive in the Arch City this month. On Sunday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m., two-thirds of the Three Amigos will be cracking ribs with laughter at the Ohio Theatre to a crowd of long-time devout fans.

Steve Martin, known not just as a comedian but also as a talented musician, first came to recognition in the 60s and 70s. He wrote for several television shows at the time and performed stand-up for the likes of Johnny Carson before making huge appearances on Saturday Night Live, sealing his fame.

Martin Short began his career as a stage actor in Canada. He later moved from the stage and into televised appearances in the U.S. and eventually began honing his funny-man talents at Second City in Edmonton. Afterward, he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live where he met long-time friend and fellow comic act Steve Martin.

Together, they’ve made television and movie debuts that have entertained millions and have rocketed to legendary comedy status. The duo will be celebrating over 50 years of laughter in front of a Columbus audience, with tickets currently available at ohio.theatrecolumbus.com for purchase.
