I’m a proud South Ender, and although we’ve had a lot of exciting news lately, nothing has excited me more than the opening of a brick and mortar location for Smoked On High Barbeque Co.
Max McGarity, the owner of Smoked On High, has created a loyal fan base through food trucks. You probably know him from Buckeye Back Ribs or Pappaya BBQ.
The journey of Smoked On High started a few years ago, and although there were snags along the way, the public will soon be rewarded for their patience with delicious, Ohio sourced BBQ. After a little help from the fans and a successful Kickstarter campaign, the restaurant will officially open in August.
Located at 755 South High Street, in the heart of the Brewery District, the house was built in 1883. Previously, it has served as office space.
The Grand Opening will take place on August 9 and you can bet it will be all about good people and great food. For more information about Smoked On High, please visit their website.
