The Short North Trolley Co. Will Launch In Time For Cinco De Mayo

If I learned anything from watching old Judy Garland movies as a kid, it’s that the most romantic things can happen on a trolley.

This summer, the Short North Trolley Co. is hoping to change the way that visitors experience the area. The company is the brainchild of Tom OBrien, Jon Lorenz, and former OSU offensive tackle Jeff Shugarts.

Short North Trolley Co. has restored two rustic, vintage 26-30 passenger commercial trolleys. The trolley service will be ticketed, so you won’t be able to just hop on Judy Garland style, but it’s still going to be a fun time.

Currently, the trolley will be available for weddings, private events, corporate events, brewery tours, pub crawls, and special events, including holiday weekends. The company will have their first rides during Cinco de Mayo weekend, May 4-6.

Tickets for the trolley are $30 and you can purchase your spot for the Cinco de Mayo Trolley Crawl, the Derby Day Trolley Crawl, and other special events here.
