Have A Fun Night In With “John & Jen,” Short North Stage’s First-Ever Virtual Production

Short North Stage has an incredible stay-at-home performance for you this weekend.

Through a special arrangement with Broadway composer Andrew Lippa and Music Theatre International, Short North Stage has just created their first-ever virtual production.

John & Jen is a fully staged and designed production, filmed live on the Main Stage at the Garden Theater. Set against the background of a changing America between 1950 and 1990, John & Jen is an original musical that honors the bond of siblings, difficulties of parenthood, and more.

The show will star local performer Dionysia Williams (A Chorus Line, Pippin, Saturday Night Fever) as Jen and Hunter Minor (Wright State University) as John. Tickets are $15 and once you’ve purchased, you’ll receive instructions for viewing the production on the screen of your choice through Vimeo.

All proceeds will benefit the Short North Stage “Curtain Up” Fund to help stabilize our theater following the pandemic. In fact, the first $5000 raised will be matched by one of Short North Stage’s donors. John & Jen will be available to view through July 12. To purchase your tickets, please click here.
