The plans for the first phase of the Scioto Peninsula redevelopment are here.
The plan has 5 buildings in the first phase. An eight-story building, an eight-story hotel, two apartment buildings coming it at 11 and 6 stories, and a 1,400-space parking garage.
There will be three developers working on phase one, Diamler, who will be working on the office building, Rockbridge, who will be building the hotel, and Flaherty & Collins who will be building the residential building.
“Each developer is best-in-class with a proven track record of success,” said CDDC President and CEO, Guy Worley, in a statement. “These developers collaborating with CDDC and the City of Columbus is another example of the public and private sectors working together to produce a very special place for Columbus.”

The office space is expected to come in around 240,000 square feet. There will be 550 residential units and 180 hotel rooms. The project is estimated for completion by summer 2022, with construction beginning as early as spring 2020.
And that’s just phase one. When the redevelopment is complete, there could potentially be 1,800 residential units, two million (yes you read that correctly) square feet of office space and 400 hotel rooms.
