Rumor Confirmed: Easton Is Totally Getting A LEGOLAND Discovery Center And We Should All Be Psyched About It

This is not a drill, LEGOLAND Discovery Center is officially coming to Easton.

Last month rumors circulated Reddit, claiming that Columbus was getting it’s very own LEGOLAND Discovery Center at Easton Mall. Well, finally, those rumors have been confirmed as true.

Starting fall of next year, the indoor family attraction will be occupying the 36,000 square foot space where KDB once stood. Not only will it be the first and only LEGOLAND in Ohio, but only the 11th in all of the U.S.

The Discovery Centers essentially function as a smaller, scaled down version of the LEGOLAND Theme Parks.

Kids and families will be able to take part in model building classes, check out “Miniland” which houses lego builds of well-known landmarks, and some locations even have 4-D movie theaters and kid-size roller coasters.

So yeah, we pretty much have a full year’s wait until we can unleash that inner kid and tower above cities of Lego wonder. At least now we know we’re getting one for sure and peace can once again settle on the forums of Reddit. Kidding, there’s a better chance they’ll make a Lego Harry Potter movie before that ever happens.
