The Roosevelt Is Expanding Their Social Efforts With A New Location In Franklinton

The sleek new Roosevelt location is definitely the place to be on a nice summer day.

The Roosevelt Coffeehouse was the beginning of my love of coffee and now it’s become a go-to for me and my mom. It’s also a go-to for tons of other Columbus peeps so I’m super excited about a new location to spread the coffee joy.

The new location in the Franklinton area is incredibly spacious with great natural light. There is a giant garage door that they open when the weather is nice and I can’t wait to enjoy that.

The Roosevelt Coffeehouse is a social justice driven coffee shop. Every cup of coffee from the Roosevelt Coffeehouse helps their mission to fight global injustice. Roosevelt donates to various organizations that fight for clean water, an end to hunger and the end of human trafficking. Since their opening in 2015, The Roosevelt has donated roughly $111,000.

The Roosevelt serves coffee from their own roasters and sweet treats from Destination Donuts, Cherbourg Bakery, Sammy’s Bagels, and more.

Their new location is located at 462 West Broad St. just across the Scioto River in the Gravity building. The Gravity building combines living space with community resources. Simply speaking the building has apartments, community spaces and programs, and retail space.

The founder of Roosevelt Coffeehouse, Kenny Spies, invites you to the grand opening celebration on Saturday, June 1st from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There will be giveaways and raffles including gift cards from Condado and Chipotle, a Roosevelt poster, a bag of one of their signature coffees and a $5 Roosevelt gift card.

If you share a picture on social media in front of the “Drink More Local Coffee mural,” you can receive $2 off your order. Be sure to tag us too! @ColumbusNavigator or #ColumbusNavigator
