Rockmill is back in the Brewery District, friends.
Now known as Bandit: Pizzas and Pairings by Rockmill, the establishment has shifted focus to pizza and brews. The rebranding was fueled by complications in the industry due to COVID-19. If you’ve ever eaten at Rockmill Brewery, then you’ll know that they know what they’re doing when it comes to the perfect pizza pie.
Rockmill Tavern originally opened in 2016 and although a transition to a pizza joint wasn’t in the cards initially, the owners hope that the new menu will be more sustainable going forward.
“Our team has been amazing through this tough time of transition and are excited to reconnect with our friends in the community,” said owner Matthew Barbee in a news release. “It’s good to be back.”
For now, Bandit will be operating as a carryout-only spot. However, the dining area is under renovation and is expected to open soon. You can swing by 503 S. Front Street, to pick up your perfect beer and pizza pairing Wednesday-Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
