Here’s a little snack for all of you burger/ice cream/shoestring fry lovers out there.
G.D. Ritzy’s will make it’s triumphant return to Clintonville before we know it. Construction is nearing the end phase at the iconic restaurant and fans can expect it to be open in three weeks.
As reported earlier, GD Ritzy’s will reopen just blocks from where it all began. It may be going by a new name (it’s just Ritzy’s now) but it’s going to be everything we loved and more. At the height of success, there were more than 100 locations around the country, however Columbus hasn’t seen or tasted a bite from the beloved restaurant since 1991.
Thanks to brothers Bryan and Corey Webb and their friend and partner Drew DeVilbiss, that’s all about to change.
The restaurant will be serving up all the favorites, including burgers, shoestring fries, and ice cream made in-house. There will be a walk-up window for guests on the go, and space for up to 40 to dine-in.
The real treat on the menu, according to Corey Webb, will be the peanut butter and jelly sandwich they plan on serving up. With construction nearing completion, the team at Ritzy’s has begun the hiring process. If slingin’ burgers is the job you’ve been searching for, look no further.
It’s so close, people! Can you taste it yet?
