Red Bull Is Hosting A Launch Party For Their New PAC-MAN Can Right Here In The Bus

Is there anything that brings back crushing waves of nostalgia quite like PAC-MAN?

That GIF doesn’t even have sound, but I’m pretty sure we can all hear the pulsating tone of PAC-MAN nomming on some PAC-DOTS as he tries to elude Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and the other ghost whose name I can never remember.

If you enjoyed PAC-MAN and you also like being awake, listen up. I’ve got a little nugget for you. Red Bull and BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. (whew) are teaming up to bring a one-of-a-kind experience to Columbus. In celebration of the new limited edition Red Bull PAC-MAN can, a special pop-up event is going down on November 15 at the Short North Food Hall.

From 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Short North Food Hall will be transformed into a PAC-MAN time machine. Attendees can check out PAC-MAN through the ages, with vintage memorabilia from BANDAI NAMCO HQ and more modern editions of the iconic video game.

Of course, there will also be PAC-MAN themed drinks.

“We’re so excited that Columbus was chosen as the exclusive location for this unique Red Bull PAC-MAN pop-up experience,” said Tyler Andrews, Director of Operations at Short North Food Hall. “As one of the top gaming cities in the Northeast, we knew our community would love it and that we had to host!”

If you want to get your hands on one of the exclusive Red Bull PAC-MAN cans, you don’t have to wait until the event. The cans are available nationwide (while supplies last).

If you’re interested in attending the event, please click here. And if you do show up, be sure to say “Hi”. I’ll be there reminiscing about my youth over an adult beverage or two!
