Just in case you need a reason to visit Granville, Ray Ray’s Hog Pit is opening something special.
Meat + Three is the latest endeavor from the local barbeque favorite, and it will open on April 7. The name refers to the classic southern way of serving barbecue, smoked meat and multiple homemade sides.
Meat + Three will be a full-service restaurant. When you come in to chow down, you’ll order your meal at the counter. James Anderson, who owns Ray Ray’s, has a farm in Granville and has big plans to offer locally sourced food and meat at the new restaurant.
The chef-inspired scratch kitchen will include oodles of yummy smoked meat, including spare ribs, brisket, jerk chicken, and more. The official menu hasn’t been released yet, but you can bet that Ray Ray’s signature mac n’ cheese will also make the cut.
