After a decade of broadcasting PromoWest Live on NBC4, PromoWest TV is becoming exclusively digital.
The show will no longer follow Saturday Night Live at 1 a.m., but the good news is that you can watch it whenever you’d like online. PromoWest TV will continue to record full-length live performances from featured artists at their family of venues, including The Basement, A&R Music Bar, Newport Music Hall and EXPRESS LIVE! in Columbus, OH, as well as Stage AE in Pittsburgh, PA and the Bunbury Music Festival in Cincinnati, OH.
PromoWest TV will also feature new, exclusive behind the scenes content, such as artist interviews, soundchecks, and more. For over 35 years, PromoWest Productions has been producing live music and entertainment and is the 9th largest promoter in the country.
“This is the next step for us in expanding our audience”, said Executive Producer of PromoWest TV, AEG Regional VP and PromoWest CEO, Scott Stienecker.
For the past 10 years, PromoWest TV has recorded over 600 artists and produced and aired over 2,000 live performances. The move to digital will “enhance our ability to capture exclusive content and bring the live music experience direct to more concert fans”, said Executive Producer, Jason Corron.
While PromoWest Live was running on NBC4, they were nominated twice for Regional Emmy Awards and also received three National Telly Awards. If you’re excited to check out more from your favorite touring artists, you can access PromoWest TV now via their website and Youtube.
