One of your favorite food truck/pop-ups is finally getting their own brick and mortar spot.
Preston’s specializes in delighting the masses with delicious burgers, chicken sandwiches, and more. Now the burger joint will be moving into a space between Bicentennial Park and the Columbus Commons, in the heart of Downtown Columbus.
The new restaurant will be 3,500 square feet and located at 15 W. Cherry St. The success of the Preston’s food truck at the Commons made the new location an obvious choice since customers are already used to getting their fix of Preston’s in the area.
Preston’s will open as a part of Muse Hospitality, a new restaurant group formed by Preston’s owners Matt Heaggans and Catie Randazzo, along with restaurant developer and Muse Hospitality CEO Reed Woogerd and Bake Me Happy’s Letha Pugh, Muse Hospitality CFO.
But what’s better than one Preston’s? Multiple Preston’s, that’s what. The restaurant group plans to expand the burger joint, not only throughout central Ohio but statewide as well.
“Our plan is to expand Preston’s into some of the other Columbus neighborhoods that we love,” Muse Hospitality CEO Reed Woogerd said in a press release. “After a city-wide expansion, we may venture into Cleveland and Cincinnati. We want Preston’s to be Ohio’s burger.”
The new Preston’s location is expected to open in spring 2020. In the meantime, you can catch the food truck or grab a bite at their in-bar locations in Grandview.
