Pokémon Competitors From Around The World Are Coming To Columbus And They Gotta Catch Em’ All To Win

Do you have what it takes to become a Pokémon Master?

You will have the chance to find out. The Pokémon Company announced that the North America International Championships will be taking place this summer, right here in Columbus.

The event will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, July 6-8, 2018. What are people competing for? There are huge amounts of Championship Points and thousands of dollars in prizes in both the Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon Video Game Championships (VGC) and Pokémon Trading Card Game competitions.

Once the top finishers are determined, they will move forward to compete at the 2018 Pokémon World Championships in Nashville this August. Winners of that event will receive the title of World Champion and a cut of the $500,000 prize pool.
