Point Really Is The Easiest Way To Volunteer In Columbus

I know it’s cliche, but I have to ask: What was your New Year’s Resolution?

If you’re into that sort of thing, you probably made a bunch of goals for yourself this year. If you’re all as nice as I think you are, I can only assume that the idea of giving back more probably came up in your resolution deliberations.

I know it certainly did for me. I know this sounds cheesy af, but I have to say, last year really showed me how beautiful humanity can be. Don’t get me wrong, we’re all still basically tiny monsters who are constantly pushing the limits of life as we know it, but we do have some nice moments as well. Especially when we’re thinking about others instead of ourselves.

Luckily it’s 2019 and even when it comes to charitable deeds, we can say “there’s an app for that”.

Point markets themselves as “The easiest way to volunteer. everrrrrr,” and I have to say I agree.

Once you download the Point app and sign-up, you’ll be asked to choose causes that are important to you, ranging from animals to education to peace and justice.

Based on your selection, the app will populate suggested volunteer opportunities for you around the city. Once you find one that gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling inside, you just have to RSVP through the app.

Like they said, volunteering has never been so easy. To learn more about Point, please click here.
