A New Mural Is Being Dedicated On The West Side

Columbus has a lot of great murals.

They’re constantly evolving and changing, and new murals are sprouting up all around town. The latest arrival can be found off of Sullivant Ave, thanks to Summer Jam West.

The mural, entitled “Peace Train” will be dedicated on July 24 in the Hilltop neighborhood. The dedication reception will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will include not only a great look at this incredible new art piece but also some light refreshments.

The mural is painted on the 110′ wall, facing west and located at 2322 Sullivant Ave. It was created by Justin Withrow, a local graffiti artist. The mural features a peace sign comprised of the words, “peace, love, live, create, health”, which Summer Jam West describes as “important elements in our everyday life.”
