An Outlet For Your Midday Creativity Awaits at Riffe Gallery

Looking for the perfect way to spice up your midweek slump? Get those creative juices flowing at The Riffe Gallery. Every Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., you’re invited to participate in a Drop-in Workshop, which is part of  “Come Along With Me”, an art experience curated by Richard Fletcher, associate professor in the Department of Classics at The Ohio State University.

The workshops on Wednesday are hosted by artist and educator Melissa Vogely Woods. Participants don’t need previous art experience to attend, just a desire to be creative. This week, the workshop will be creating postcards to be mailed to different artists, and the creativity won’t go unnoticed as artists will respond!

The Drop-in workshop program runs every Wednesday until April 12. Themes for upcoming weeks include a personal narrative tree project, stitched bookbinding workshop, and a narrative-based collage project. The Riffe Gallery will feature the “Come Along With Me” exhibit until April 15th.
