There’s no better time to get a little otherworldly than Halloween.
Otherworld, also known as Columbus’s most immersive and interactive art display, will be hosting some special Halloween events at the end of the month. There are activities perfect for the whole family but also some that would make for an exciting, adults-only night out.
Wicked Wednesday at Otherworld is a night of not-so-scary fun with the whole fam. There will be fun and spooky creatures waiting to entertain the kids as they Trick or Treat through Otherworld’s 40+ rooms. Fall treats will be available at the Otherworld Cafe and Worldy Eats Food Truck will be onsite as well.
In addition to the trick-or-treating, the kiddos can show off their costumes in the Kids Costume Fashion Show at 7 p.m. It wouldn’t be an artsy Halloween party without face painting, right? So naturally, Otherworld has that lined up as well. Wicked Wednesday goes from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30. You can grab all of the deets about the event here.
No kids to entertain this Halloween?
Don’t worry, Otherworld still has you covered. For those visitors 21+, Otherworld’s official Halloween party is waiting to blow your mind. The evening will consist of mind-bending psychedelic thrills and chills, with music from Dan Deacon, Damn the Witch Siren, Anna and The Annadroids, and more.
Doors will open at 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 31. Costumes, monsters, makeup artists, and more will be hiding throughout the rooms at Otherworld, ready for you to discover as you journey through. The music will start at 10 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
Get out there and have some fun, Columbus.
And don’t forget to get an epic selfie somewhere at Otherworld. I highly recommend the tube-light room. That’s not the official name, but you’ll know it when you see it.
