OSU Football Players Are Teaming Up With TownHall To Serve 4,000 Free Turkey Dinners

Tis the season to do something kind for others, and the folks at TownHall are taking that sentiment seriously.

On Monday, November 22, TownHall will be joined by Ohio State football stars CJ Stroud, TreVeyon Henderson, Denzel Burke, and other notable leaders to serve 4,000 free turkey dinners to those in need.

TownHall has quickly become a staple in the Short North and they’re leading the annual initiative.

“TownHall has hosted Feed The Need for the last eight years and is proud to continue supporting the local community,” says TownHall owner Bobby George. “This event is the highlight of our year.”

At TownHall’s Cleveland location, Feed The Need has distributed over 35,000 meals in previous years with the help of Baker Mayfield, Denzel Ward, UFC champ Stipe Miocic, Myles Garrett, Dwyane Wade, and more pro stars.

In addition to the food, TownHall will be launching an outerwear upcycling program. TownHall and their sister restaurant Rebol are collecting gently used hats, scarves, sweaters, mittens, and jackets that will be professionally cleaned (by their wonderful drycleaning partner DO Summers) then distributed to those in need during Feed The Need. Donations of outerwear can be dropped off at any TownHall or Rebol location.

“Every year, we strive to make this event more impactful. We’re able to do that thanks to our partnerships with local homeless shelters, especially St. Augustine,” says George.

The original Cleveland event will still go down, hosted by Baker and Emily Mayfield. Feed The Need Columbus will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on November 22 at TownHall (792 N. High St).
