This Ohio Festival Will Transport You To The Land Of Oz

Are you ready to take a trip to Land of Oz? Head to Macedonia, OH for the first-ever Ohio Wizard of Oz Festival!

The festival kicks off on Friday, September 22 at Longwood Park. All weekend, attendees can experience everything they love about the classic, 1939 film.

There will be several attractions throughout the weekend, including The Wizard of Oz Game Show, Tin Man’s Tin Lizzie Classic Car Cruise-In, The World of Oz-Art Exhibition, Munchkinland Carnival, Stuff the Scarecrow, and the Wicked Witch of the West’s Laboratory.

If you’re planning to spend the whole weekend at the festival, you’ll probably want a place to call your home away from home. The Bertram Hotel & Conference Center will be hosting several events throughout the weekend, which makes it the perfect hotel for this event. They are even offering a special discounted rate of $89/night to those attending the festival.

The Clarion Inn is also reccommended for guests by the festival organizers, although their rooms are going quickly. In addition to hotels, there are several campgrounds in the area. For additional information, please click here.
