Ohio State Fair Will Host First-Ever Hometown Sounds and Craft Beer Fest

Fans of Ohio music and craft beer are in for a treat tomorrow afternoon. Opening day at the Ohio State Fair will feature the first-ever Hometown Sounds and Craft Beer Fest.

Two breweries from each of the 6 regions of Ohio will showcase their craft beer. The beer tasting begins at 4 p.m. while the concert starts at 7 p.m.

Fat Head’s


Columbus Brewing Co.
Four String Brewing


Jackie O’s
Little Fish Brewing


Warped Wing
Yellow Springs



Each brewery will showcase two beers. Attendees can purchase 10 tickets for $20, with each ticket being worth one 3-ounce pour, but admission to the event is completely free. The first 1500 guests will also receive a commemorative 5-ounce tasting mug.

Performers at the Hometown Sounds concert include McGuffey Lane, Erica Blinn and Colin Gawel & The League Bowlers.
