The Ohio State University Buckeyes are headed to The Shoe this weekend to take on Nebraska.
This is the first game of the season for the Buckeyes, who are playing an abbreviated schedule this year due to COVID-19. Since the stadium won’t be open to fans, Ohio State has gotten a little creative.
“For the 2020 football season, Buckeye fans can still carry on the tradition of having a presence inside the ‘Shoe,” a press release from OSU states. “Put on your favorite Buckeye gear and purchase a fan cutout so you can be in Ohio Stadium on game day.”

The cutouts, which can be purchased for $50, will be located in the A-deck of the stadium. If you’re feeling fancy and you want your cutout to have more of a featured presence, you can purchase a $75 cutout that will be placed in line with the 50-yard line.
Students can purchase their cutouts, which will be placed in the south endzone for $25.
There are a few suggestions for what kind of photos work best for the cutouts. Selfies should be avoided and photos need to show your torso. Only one person can be in each photo (unless you’re holding a baby or pet) and there’s no Michigan attire allowed (obviously).
Although the deadline to have your cutout approved has already passed for the Nebraska game, you can still submit your photo for the upcoming game against Rutgers on November 7. For more information about ordering your cutout, you can visit the Ohio State website here.
