Another day, another nonstop flight announcement for John Glenn International Airport.

Delta Air Lines has just announced the addition of daily, nonstop flights between Salt Lake City (SLC) and John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH), which will begin on June 16, 2019.

“Salt Lake City will be Delta’s 13th nonstop destination from John Glenn International and will serve the needs of a market that’s in high demand,” said Joseph R. Nardone, President & CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority.

Flight details

· The first flight from SLC to CMH departs June 16.

· The first flight from CMH to SLC departs the next morning on June 17.

· Aircraft will be an A319, featuring 132 seats. That includes 12 First Class, 18 Delta Comfort+, 102 Main Cabin seats.

· Flights are available for booking at

Delta is currently CMH’s third busiest airline. They offer over 30 daily flights between Atlanta, Boston, Cancun, Detroit, Fort Myers, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York-JFK, New York-LaGuardia, Orlando, Raleigh/Durham, and Salt Lake City.

Nonstop flights are becoming pretty popular for CMH, which is a great indication that the airport is growing. More frequent nonstop flights are good for the entire region economically speaking, as they allow businesses easier access to Columbus.

Here’s hoping we’ll get to visit Concourse B for a beer before heading out!
