Newfangled Kitchen Is Joining The Sandwich Battle In Bexley

If you’re looking for something on bread, head to Bexley.

Main Street is basically a line-up of sub and sandwich shops, but there’s a new contender in town.

Newfangled Kitchen is a labor of love from couple Eric and Laura Dennison. Eric spent time at one of Columbus’ most iconic sandwich institutions (Katzinger’s Deli) and now he’s brought his talent to E Main St.

The menu is pretty spectacular, with the shop’s specialty coming in the form of a Meatloaf Sandwich. The sammie comes in five flavors, ranging in price from $7.25-$8.75.

If meatloaf isn’t your thing, you can opt for one of their other treats. Personally, they had me at “Chatty Kathy”. Not only do I feel like this sandwich is literally what I would be as a deli item, it’s pretty darn tasty. I love chicken salad more than a human being should and it does not disappoint.

Newfangled Sandwiches also offers two types of grilled bologna sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts, and sides, including dill pickle potato salad and Carolina kettle chips. You can even order kids meals aka “Little Fangs”, that include a choice of side.

Newfangled Kitchen is located at 2258 E. Main Street. They’re open Tuesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. They are closed on Monday.

Let’s get some sammies, people!
