A New Craft Bar And Restaurant Opens In John Glenn International Airport

Just because you’re stuck at the airport, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a great craft beer.

Stuck at the airport waiting for a layover? Fear not travelers of the open sky, you now have more reason than ever to pass that time in a very unsober fashion. The John Glenn International Airport is getting a new bar and restaurant, and this one specializes in the good stuff.

American Craft Tavern will be just as its name implies, a bar and grill that serves up traditional American pub fare while offering a wide selection of tasty craft brews. HMSHost will be teaming up with The Boston Beer Company to bring customers a variety of Samuel Adams beers as well as many Columbus drafts, to ensure visitors get a taste of the local brewing scene.

“It is very exciting to have the opportunity to introduce American Craft Tavern to travelers at John Glenn International,” said HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Kent Vanden Oever. “American Craft Tavern gives travelers the chance to experience the richness of American craft brewing with unique flights of beer along with exciting food pairings before they take to the skies.”

American Craft Tavern is now open for all customers and passengers, so you can enjoy a nice stout or IPA while I gently kick myself for not coming up with a pun for “flights of beer”. I mean, it was right there.
