Tongues Untied: 30th Anniversary Screening & Lecture

Wexner Center for the Arts | 7 p.m. | Free
Ohio State Department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies celebrates the 30th anniversary of Tongues Untied, Marlon Riggs’s documentary on the lives and perspectives of black gay men. This was a groundbreaking film of the time and still fosters strong conversation about what it means to be a black gay man in this world. The screening is followed by a lecture by scholar Darius Bost.

Delaware County Fair

Delaware County Fairgrounds | 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. | Varies
The Delaware Country fair runs from 9/14-9/21. Check out the amazing projects, beautiful baskets, fun rides, and of course all the fried food you can possibly consume!

Yelp Defies Gravity

Short North Bourbon Tasting

As part of a Columbus whiskey tasting series, Bristol Republic is hosting a bourbon tasting of five different bourbons. One in particular is a little special! Arrive between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. to finish the tasting on time.

BodyHIIT on the Lawn at Gravity

Cova Cowork and Flex Fitness OT owner Josh will lead a HIIT workout at the new Gravity building. No experience is required. Admission is free for Grvaity residents and Cova Cowork members. $5 fee for all nonresidents.

Harry Potter Wine Tasting

Bilingual Storytime

Jennifer Morris is a licensed teacher and she’ll be hosting a bilingual storytime at Grandview’s Cub Shrub to help kids become more familiar with the Spanish language! They’ll read a children’s book in Spanish then practice what was learned with hands-on activities.
