What: The Ohio Village will host this year’s Country Living Fair. Spend the weekend shopping, attending seminars and demonstrations, and eating delicious food. The editors of Country Living magazine will be in attendance. Ticket prices vary and can be purchased here.

16th Annual Ohio Fish and Shrimp Festival

What: Are you ready to celebrate Ohio’s Freshwater Shrimp Harvest? The 16th Annual Ohio Fish and Shrimp Festival invites guests to get their fill of food, enjoy live music, shop from local vendors, and participate in dozens of activities. Admission is $5 for those 13 and older, $2 for kids aged 3-12, and free for children 2 and under.
When: The festival kicks off Friday, September 15 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. It runs Saturday from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Thornville Backwoods Fest

What: The Thornville Backwoods Fest offers over 300 vendors, more than 30 different kinds of food, and 3 days of bluegrass music. Guests of all ages are welcome at the festival. Tickets cost $9 per entry. Children 10 and younger are free. Parking is provided at no additional cost. All of the proceeds on Saturday will be donated to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.

Tchaikovsky V. Drake

What: This symphonic mash-up comes from composer and conductor Steve Hackman. Classical music meets hip-hop in a unique way that will bridge two artists separated by time and genre: Drake and Tchaikovsky. Ticket prices begin at $25 and are available here.

19th Annual Ohio Pawpaw Festival

What: The 19th Annual Ohio Pawpaw Festival will feature three days of all things pawpaw. Live music, local food and beer, shopping, a 4-Miler Run, contests, art and more are all in store. Take a road trip and learn about this unique and interesting fruit! Tickets are $15 for a single day and $30 for a weekend pass. Camping is available at an additional cost. Independents’ Day Festival 2017

What: It’s the end of an era. The final Independents’ Day Festival will take place in Franklinton this weekend. Enjoy amazing musicians, local artists, unique vendors, and tons of food and drink. There will also be special presentations throughout the weekend.

Arts In The Alley

What: Arts in the Alley is celebrating 38 years of being one of Central Ohio’s longest running music and arts festival! The festival kicks off with the Parade. There will be food, vendors, and adjudicated art events. There will also be a Community Mural, where attendees can participate in creating art with other festival goers. Paint will be provided. Arts in the Alley is free and open to guests of all ages.
