An American In Paris

What: This Tony Award-winning musical tells the story of an American soldier and a mysterious French woman who are both searching for a new life in the aftermath of war. Tickets can be purchased here.

Blue Jackets vs. Red Wings

What: Cheer on the Columbus Blue Jackets as they go head to head with the Detroit Red Wings. Tickets start at $27.
When: March 9 at 7 p.m.

Save The Crew: The Battle For Columbus Premiere Event

What: Celebrate all things Columbus Crew SC at a special, premiere event. The new film updates the ongoing story of the fight to prevent the Crew being relocated. This red carpet event will include appearances by your favorite Crew personalities, including former Crew legends from the 1996 and 2008 teams.
When: March 9 at 6 p.m.
Where: Gateway Film Center

The Derby

What: This unique event is about more than fancy cocktails and big hats. Proceeds from The Derby go to support 2nd and 7, a foundation started by former OSU football players Luke Fickell, Ryan Miller, and Mike Vrabel. The evening will feature hors-d’oeuvres, a photo booth, silent auction, raffle prizes, and more.

B1G Ten Men’s Hockey Semi-Finals: OSU vs. Michigan

What: The Ohio State Men’s Hockey team will take on that team up north in the B1G Ten semi-final match.
When: March 10 at 7:30 p.m.

What: Alt-pop performer and comic book starlet Lights will be performing downtown this weekend. Opening acts include Chase Atlantic and DCF. Tickets are $26 at the door.
When: March 10 at 6:30 p.m.

The 35th Annual Ohio Science Fiction Marathon

What: It’s time to get your geek on. The 35th Annual Ohio Sci-Fi Marathon is happening at Drexel Theatre. 24 hours of unfiltered nerdiness, the festival will show all kinds of science fiction hits, including Back to the Future, Donnie Darko, and more. Of course, there is also a costume contest, so come prepared. Tickets are $45 day of show.
When: March 10-11 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Columbus Crew SC vs. Montreal Impact

What: The Columbus Crew SC will battle it out against Montreal Impact in their 2018 season home opener. Tickets start at $27 and can be purchased here.
When: March 10 at 1 p.m.

Blooms & Butterflies

What: Get out of the cold this weekend and head to the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. The most popular exhibit of the year, Butterflies & Blooms opens this weekend. Hundreds of butterflies fly free in the Pacific Island Water Garden, surrounded by beautiful and exotic flowers.
When: March 10-September 16, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily

Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Parade

What: Nobody in Ohio does St. Patrick’s Day quite like the city of Dublin. This year’s festivities will kick off a week early, ensuring maximum time to get your Irish on.
When: March 10 at 11 a.m.

NCAA Selection Show Watch Party

What: Join the team, coaches, and staff of the OSU Men’s Basketball team for a viewing party of the NCAA Tournament selectionshow. Admission is free and limited concessions will be available.
When: March 11 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

WWE Fastlane

What: Watch your favorite WWE stars fight it out in the final Pay per view event before Wrestlemania 34. The event features Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, The Usos, The New Day, and special guest John Cena.

Spring Fling Herbal Mixology

What: Oakland Nursery wants to teach you how to grow herbs in your garden for delicious cocktails and mixed drinks. The class is free but you are encouraged to register in advance due to limited space.

Columbus Pet Expo

What: Calling all pet lovers, this is a weekend event you won’t want to miss. With everything from doggy costume contests to agility courses, this is the perfect place for any parents of fur babies to spend the weekend. Dogs are allowed to attend but you’ll need to fill out a waiver first. Tickets and more info are available here.
