Navigator Weekender: The 12 Best Things To Do This Weekend, Including Moonlight Market, BalletMet’s Dance Party And The Ohioana Writers Festival

There are a lot of amazing things happening this weekend around Columbus. Although we’ll have a rough weather start on Friday, temperatures will rise to the mid-70’s by Sunday afternoon. What: BalletMet is throwing a masked soiree this weekend. Local eateries will provide the food and Charles Erikson will DJ. Tickets are $175 and the event is 21 and up. Remember, you must wear black and white and a mask.

What: The Greater Columbus Film Commission will host a premiere party for the film, Aftermath, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Aftermath was filmed here in Columbus, so crew members will be attending the party to chat about their experiences on set.

What: Merging the artistry of the Symphony and Circus performing, Cirque de la Symphonie will be performing downtown this weekend. Aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, dancers, jugglers, balancers, and strongmen will take the stage, accompanied by the Columbus Symphony Orchestra performing classic masterpieces.

What: The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) is hosting their annual walk to help raise awareness and funds to fight eating disorders. A goal of $20,000 has been set by Walk officials, and they are calling on not only those afflicted with eating disorders but those who support those who are struggling as well.
