There are so many fun things happening in the capital city this weekend that I honestly don’t know how you’ll choose. But whatever you decided to do, remember to bundle up. It’s going to be cold and wet, buttercups!

Hanukkah on Main Street

What: Joint the Capital University Jewish Student Association for the 3rd Annual Menorah lighting and Hanukkah celebration. The event will take place at the main gate of Capital University.

Polar Express Movie Weekend

What: Head to COSI for some family fun. The science museum will screen The Polar Express on the National Geographic Giant Screen Theater with hot chocolate, cookies, and other surprises. Tickets are $10 for nonmembers and $8 for COSI Members. Click here for more info.

Steampunk Alice in Wonderland

What: Grandview Carriage Place Players will be performing Steampunk Alice in Wonderland this weekend. The show, at Columbus Performing Arts Center, will have multiple showings throughout the weekend. Tickets are $5.00 cash at the door.

Figgy Fest 2017

What: Head out for a night of rock and roll where the proceeds go to a good cause. The lineup for Figgy Fest includes Ho Ho Hoes, 3 Speed Sleigh, The Mitzvahs, Figgy & The Scrooges and more. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.

PBJ & Jazz Family Concert – Tony Monaco Trio: “Songs of the Season”

What: Celebrate the “Songs of the Season” with B3 organ legend Tony Monaco and his trio. The PBJ & Jazz Family concert series offers hour-long interactive concerts for kids. Introduce the next generation to one of the best things to ever come out of America: Jazz. Tickets are $5 (with a $20 maximum for families). Kids tickets will include a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, juice, and a cookie. There will be two performances.

Blitzmas 2017 featuring Seether

Merry Axe-Mas

What: Want to do something unique? Shop local goods and toss some axes all at the same time. Columbus Axe Throwing and Craftin’ Outlaws are teaming up.
