Here at Columbus Navigator, we’ve looked a lot of lavish houses over the years.
From stunning downtown penthouses to private island living, Ohio really has a little bit of everything. If a golf course home is your dream, then this property at Muirfield Village will probably leave you pretty excited.
The home was built in 1982 and I can honestly say, it’s still got those 80s vibes all over the place, but that’s sort of what I love the most about it. The home sits on 2.5 acres with fantastic views of the 5th hole/6th tee of the Championship Course at Muirfield.
Just in case you’re not familiar, Muirfield is the golf course where The Memorial Tournament is held annually. The golf tournament brings the best golfers in the world to Dublin and being able to watch them from your own patio is kind of a big deal.
With a first-floor owner’s suite, a billiard room, a home theater room, and even an indoor pool, this home is certainly decadent. The property has four bedrooms total, over 7.5 bathrooms, and a whopping 21,000+ square feet of living space.
The home is currently listed by Scott Street, Street Sotheby’s International Realty for $5,500,000. Now let’s get in there and take a closer look.
When I said the home had great views of the golf course, I meant it.
The home seems sort of unassuming from the font, but don’t let that tasteful facade fool you. Those doors are hiding a whole world of interesting.
Like every fancy dream home, this one comes with a formal dining room, complete with chandalier.
The main living space overlooks the pool, but there is plenty of floor-to-ceiling windows that let in the natural light.
Speaking of natural light… I could read a lot of books and chill with several plants in this room.
There’s an office for all of your work-from-home needs.
And yet another space for entertaining guests.
The owner’s suite has access to the indoor pool.
There’s a lot to take in about this bathroom so I’ll just be quiet and let you feel however you feel about it.
This home feels very 80s at times, but then occasionally you’ll get hit with some midcentury vibes. I’m a fan of the combination, whether that’s an unpopular opinion or not.
I don’t know if this reference will make sense or not, but this room has huge “Designing Women” vibes and I’m here for it.
There’s plenty of room to have your friends and family over for some fun.
And that includes the massive, olympic size indoor swimming pool.
I mean, you have to admit, that’s pretty impressive.
There’s plenty of room in the massive garage for your favorite cars.
And did I mention the views of the golf course?
Because those views are really the star of the show. What can I say? I’m in love with this weird, slightly dated, multimillion dollar mansion and I don’t care who knows it.
