Have you ever wondered what the most expensive homes around Columbus look like?
Because I certainly have. If you talk to anyone who’s bought or sold a home in the last couple of years, they can attest that the Columbus real estate market is absolutely wild. Houses frequently get multiple offers and they’re gone from the market in a blink of an eye.
We thought it would be fun to take a deep dive into the most expensive homes in various Columbus neighborhoods. Up this time: Merion Village, Victorian Village, Old Beechwold, Discovery District, Old North Columbus, and Dennison Place. The homes range in size and price, but one thing they all have in common is that they’re the most expensive home in the neighborhood. We excluded pending/contingent homes from the list and all listings were accurate at the time of publication.
Now that we’ve got all of that out of the way, let’s take a closer look at these gems.

What you’ll love: There’s a lot to love about this 1915 American Four Square. It’s spacious, it’s super close to the iconic Schiller Park, and it has a fantastic finished third floor. Being steps from Fox in the Snow cafe doesn’t hurt either!

1294 Hunter Ave. | Dennison Place

Specs: 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 1,858 square feet

What you’ll love: Dennison Place is a tiny neighborhood and properties don’t come up on the market all that often. Tucked away on a quiet street, this home has been recently updated and is just waiting for the perfect family to call it home. If we had to pic just one thing to rave about, it would be the fact that the kitchen opens up into a bonus entertainment area, complete with vaulted ceilings and skylights.
