Here Are The Most Expensive Homes For Sale Right Now In 6 Different Columbus Neighborhoods
Have you ever wondered what the most expensive homes around Columbus look like?
Because I certainly have. If you talk to anyone who’s bought or sold a home in the last couple of years, they can attest that the Columbus real estate market is absolutely wild. Houses frequently get multiple offers and they’re gone from the market in a blink of an eye.
We thought it would be fun to take a deep dive into the most expensive homes in various Columbus neighborhoods. Up this time: Merion Village, Victorian Village, Old Beechwold, Discovery District, Old North Columbus, and Dennison Place. The homes range in size and price, but one thing they all have in common is that they’re the most expensive home in the neighborhood. We excluded pending/contingent homes from the list and all listings were accurate at the time of publication.

Specs: 4 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, 2,178 square feet Price: $499,500 What you’ll love: There’s a lot to love about this 1915 American Four Square. It’s spacious, it’s super close to the iconic Schiller Park, and it has a fantastic finished third floor. Being steps from Fox in the Snow cafe doesn’t hurt either!
Specs: 2 bedrooms, 2.5+ bathrooms, 1,934 square feet Price: $749,900 What you’ll love: This stunning home was built way back in 1880, but don’t let that put you off. The home has been completely remodeled, taken down to the studs and opened up with a modern floorplan. The home also has a fantastic office space, perfect for working from home.
Specs: 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2,738 square feet Price: $798,500 What you’ll love: With beautiful river views, this Georgian style home has so much to love. There are gorgeous patios, an open concept kitchen, and even a grand main staircase. It’s peaceful and charming and I don’t know about you, but I could certainly imagine relaxing around this place.
Specs: 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2,976 square feet Price: $1,300,000 What you’ll love: This home has been completely renovated into an absolute stunner. From the open living spaces to the light-filled bedrooms, there’s plenty of space for the whole family. Located in the Discovery District, this home is mere moments away from a beautiful stroll at the Topiary Park or an afternoon at the Columbus Library.
Specs: 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms (main house) Price: $1,150,000 What you’ll love: This property is pretty majestic on its own, but it’s an even better deal when you factor in the massive, separate apartment. You could live in the main home and utilize the additional space as a guest house. There’s ample parking and the .31 acre lot means there’s plenty of space outside for entertaining.
Specs: 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 1,858 square feet Price: $564,000 What you’ll love: Dennison Place is a tiny neighborhood and properties don’t come up on the market all that often. Tucked away on a quiet street, this home has been recently updated and is just waiting for the perfect family to call it home. If we had to pic just one thing to rave about, it would be the fact that the kitchen opens up into a bonus entertainment area, complete with vaulted ceilings and skylights.
