Is it just me or is the skyline of North High Street constantly changing?
As Columbus grows, more and more single-story buildings along High Street are being replaced by multi-story, mixed-use developments. The latest is a proposed, six-story building on the corner of N. High St. and W. 8th Ave.
The space, which is currently home to Lucky’s Stout House and formerly Cousins Army-Navy store, will be transformed into a 146-unit apartment building with ground-floor retail space.
The new building’s location will likely make it a popular place to live for young adults, with proximity to both the Ohio State University and the Short North.

The developer for the project is Avenue Partners, working with architect Sullivan Bruck. This dynamic duo has teamed up before, creating The Aston development in Victorian Village.
