Merion Village Is Hosting A Self-Guided Garden Tour This Year

One of my favorite summer activities is checking out various Home & Garden tours around the city.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times: this summer is going to be different. As much as we wish that there wasn’t a global pandemic happening, that’s just not the case. Different organizations, events, and summer activities are being modified left and right to accommodate the health and safety of all participants, and the Merion Village Garden Tour is no exception.

This year, the tour will take place July 12-18. In an effort to continue sharing the beautiful gardens of Merion Village while respecting the limitations due to COVID-19 on large gatherings, the tour will be partially self-guided and partially virtual.

The self-guided walking tour will be limited to front yards only and will go all week long, giving visitors plenty of time to safely walk through the neighborhood.

The Virtual tour will feature a pre-recorded video of the gardens and will be uploaded to the Merion Village YouTube channel, Facebook page, and the website for everyone to enjoy.
