Marvel Created A Comic Book Cover For The OSU-Indiana Game And It’s Kind Of Awesome

Next week kicks off College Football season. In Columbus, that means one thing: IT’S BUCKEYE TIME.

To celebrate the opening of the NCAA season, Marvel teamed up with ESPN to bring a series of unique, comic-style covers. The covers depict College Mascots as Super Heroes, going head to head.

Since Indiana doesn’t have an official mascot, Brutus squared off with a Hoosier player instead.

🤦‍♂️When you're missing a mascot… #GoBucks BEAT IU! @espncfb

That team up north got a cover as well, depicting their match up with Florida on September 2.

Other match-ups featured on the covers include:

  • Brigham Young University vs. Lousiana State University
  • Florida State vs. Alabama
  • Tennessee vs. Georgia Tech
  • West Virginia vs. Virginia Tech

Who’s ready for football season? Can I get an O-H?
