This Holiday Light Display Raises Money For Adoptable Dogs Around Central Ohio

Tens of thousands of lights, multiple acres, and all for a good cause!

The Lucy Depp Park light show is one of the most technologically advanced neighborhood light shows in Central Ohio. Each year, thousands of lights are coordinated across 6 houses and 7.5 acres of land to create quite an incredible show.

The show accepts donations and they’re for a fantastic cause. Peace for Paws Ohio is a non-profit organization that is tackling the homeless pet overpopulation in Ohio. From offering education and financial support for spay and neuter efforts to fostering and adopting dogs from high-kill shelters, Paws for Peace is one of those organizations that just warms your heart right up.

The light display is a drive-through experience and it takes months to hang the lights and program the show. Nearly every tree, bush, and display in the show are independently controlled and programmed down to the millisecond.

The show runs until the first week of January from dusk until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from dusk until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The roads are narrow so the show is essentially a loop. Visitors will enter at Frabell Dr. and exit on Springdale Dr.

Visitors can go through the display as many times as they’d like. Lucy Depp Park Light Show is located at 9360 Frabell Dr., Powell OH 43065. For more information, or to make a donation, please visit ldplights.com.
