Little Eater Clintonville Will Open This Week

Little Eater will officially be opening next week in Clintonville.

The new location will be Little Eater’s second location and first freestanding restaurant. It will seat up to 70 guests and offer a full Little Eater experience.

“We have created an experience that will allow our guests to conveniently carry out and enjoy Little Eater on-the-go, as always, or to sit down and stay awhile,” says founding chef and owner Cara Mangini.

“It’s important to us that our food remain convenient and easy with a quick service style that accommodates busy lives. At the same time, we think this food equally deserves a beautiful space and a table for gathering and connecting, and to celebrate the season and beautiful local ingredients.”

The Grand Opening will take place October 19, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. From October 20-22, the restaurant will be open from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. After the opening weekend and throughout the initial launch phase, Little Eater Clintonville will be open for dinner only, Wednesdays through Sundays from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Lunch and breakfast service, as well as expanded hours and days of operation, will be coming as soon as possible following launch.

“Since our first pop up restaurant in Columbus a little over five years ago, I’ve had this full restaurant experience in my mind,” said Mangini. “With the leadership of Chef Amber Herron and GM Janelle Kilbane and an extraordinary team, this new endeavor is even more special than I could have ever imagined.”

Little Eater’s signature item, seasonal vegetables served in portions called “scoops”, will be the heart of the Clintonville menu with nine on offer daily. That’s two more scoops than are available at The North Market Location.

The Clintonville menu will also feature new items, including a flight of six scoops for customers who want to try a little of several items. All veggies will continue to be sourced from local, organic farms.

“It is a joy and a pleasure to finally bring it to life. We couldn’t be happier or more grateful to open our own doors to Columbus and our Clintonville neighbors, and to be able to expand our support of hero farmers and food producers in our community,” said Mangini.

Little Eater Clintonville is located at 4215 North High Street.
