Lincoln Theatre’s Summer Camp Is Perfect For Kids With A Flair For Drama

Parents of dramatic kiddos, listen up. The Lincoln Theatre is offering a brand new summer camp that is perfect for those passionate and creative babes in your life.

Lincoln Theatre Patternz Summer Camp program is a new initiative focusing on children ages 6 through 13. The five-day camp will expose the kids to multiple art forms and help them to foster their love for the arts. The fee for the week-long camp is $110 per child.

Campers will begin each day with affirmations of excellence, then attend workshops in dance, theatre, music, and visual arts. By the end of the week, they will all be ready for their close up, putting on a performance for their friends and family using all of the skills they’ve acquired throughout the week.

Campers will also participate in enrichment activities including healthy food choices, the harmful effects of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs, and the wonders of science.

“We are so excited to begin offering the Lincoln Theatre Summer Camp program this year,” stated Lincoln Theatre General Manager Suzan Bradford. “We will provide children with an atmosphere of art-making and science integration while introducing information on healthy choices that will benefit their overall development socially, personally, and creatively.”

Camp Sessions:

  • Week 1 June 25-29
  • Week 2 July 9-13
  • Week 3 July 16-20
  • Week 4 July 23-27
  • Week 5 July 30-August 3
  • Camps run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Each week of camp will be different, so kids are encouraged to attend multiple sessions. Although campers are required to bring their own lunch, they will receive a healthy morning and afternoon snack. For an additional fee, parents can also sign up for pre-care, which runs from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
