Take A Trolley Ride And Send A Letter To Santa In One Spectacular Afternoon

On the hunt for some family-friendly Christmas fun? Look no further.

The Ohio Railway Museum is once again hosting Letters to Santa, a super fun afternoon filled with trains, trollies, treats, and of course, a little letter writing.

Letters To Santa will take place on December 14-15 and 21-22 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. All participants will get the chance to take a festive ride on an old trolley car, make Christmas ornaments and crafts, snap a photo with Mrs. Claus, and write and mail a letter to Santa in the Railway Post Office car.

In addition to the trolley you’ll be riding on, you can also check out some of the other trains at the station, including cab of the Norfolk & Western #578 steam locomotive, a Union Pacific #163 cab, and a new CSX ‘Love Shack’ caboose.

I’m not really a train person, but let’s be real, they had me at ‘Love Shack’ caboose. Tickets for Letters to Santa are $10 and children 3 and under are free.

Please note that there are no pre-sale tickets for this event. Admission can be purchased on the day of your visit to the depot and rides are scheduled on an as-needed basis. That means everyone gets to experience all of the activities as well as the ride. For more info, visit the Ohio Railway Museum website.
