It’s nearly time for one of the most anticipated openings of the year: LEGOLAND Discovery Center.
The new kid-friendly hotspot will open its doors on September 28 to the public. Families are not only invited but encouraged to attend the ceremony, which will include a children’s parade led by LEGOLAND Discovery Center’s mascot, Bernie, and a unique “ribbon cutting” ceremony that may or may not involve knocking down a giant LEGO brick wall.
The event is open to the public and the first 500 visitors will receive a limited-edition, grand opening Pop Badge. LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus is located at 165 Easton Town Center, inside the Easton Station building.
The 36,000-square-foot indoor attraction will feature two interactive rides, a 4D Cinema, 10 LEGO play zones, MINILAND Ohio, birthday party rooms, and more. The facility is also planning on hosting Adult-Only events, where LEGO lovers aged 21+ can shake the rust off their LEGO building skills.
