Katzinger’s Delicatessen Is Expanding To Dublin

Katzinger’s Deli, will soon be opening a 4,000 sq ft location on Muirfield Drive in Dublin.

The iconic German Village deli was sold to restauranteur group CityBrands in 2016, after being owned by original founder Diane Warren since 1984.

CityBrands owns The Wine Bistro (Worthington, Westerville, and Upper Arlington locations) as well as Las Margaritas (Westerville and Canal Winchester).

It seemed inevitable that new ownership wouldn’t be content with just the flagship German Village and North Market Katzinger’s locations, and assuming the Dublin location is successful, you have to assume further expansion will be on the horizon.

Katzinger’s made our list of best sandwich shops, of course, but it might surprise you that they’re also one of our best places to grab a bowl of soup as well.

Columbus Business First reports the Dublin restaurant will mirror the German Village location, with a similar menu and the familiar grocery section.
