Dreams Do Come True: Jackie O’s Has Officially Arrived In Columbus

One of the best breweries in Ohio has finally come to Columbus.

Jackie O’s Brewery has long been a favorite in Athens, but they recently announced that they were headed to the capital city. Jackie O’s is taking over the Elevator Brewing Company production facility on N 4th street.

The 5,800 square foot building houses a 15-barrel brewhouse. The facility will be under renovation for a while with a grand opening expected sometime in 2021. But don’t think that you have to wait that long to get your hands on the goods.

Jackie O’s has opened a carryout storefront at 171 North Fourth street where you can grab some beer to-go as well as swag and merchandise. You can place your orders online at jackieos.com/onfourth. There you can browse a selectino of bottles, cans, pre-filled growlers, and merchandise, all of which is available for curbside pickup.

“This is something we’ve been dreaming about for years,” said owner Art Oestrike in a statement last month. “We are excited it’s finally becoming a reality and can’t wait to bring Jackie O’s to our supportive customers in the Columbus community.”

I can safely say that the Columbus community has been dreaming about this for years too, Art. If you’d like to learn more about Jackie O’s and the beer they’re brewing, you can visit their website here.
